Have I really not done this since 2019? Goodness, shame on me. What a Con! Saw SO MAN FRIENDS!!!! Got to hang out with nearly everyone I knew that was going. Also got glimpses on the Con floor of legends like Yaya Han and Kit Quinn. (Yaya was out of costume at the time, but Kit was dressed up as Fran Drescher with a SAG-AFTRA Strike sign and it was LEGENDARY). Costume winners: Saw more Spy X Family cosplays thank anything else, with Yor Forger edging out Anya. Great year for obscure cosplays, too. Saw Chise from Ancient Magus Bride, Torgo from Manos: The Hand of Fate. And then..... OK, strap in for this: you know the scene from the first Men in Black where they are at the shooting range and Will Smith's character only shoots the little 10 year old girl with the Quantum Mechanics textbook? Someone cosplayed as THAT - the little girl. Had the hair, the textbook, and drew a bullet hole in her forehead. 13/10, no notes. Great frakkin Con.

Dragon-Con round-up: not a bad Con over-all. Got into 2 Sanderson panels. Went to Match Game. Hung out with peeps and played games. Had 40ish beers at the bottle share. Not cool about my gauntlets being stolen.🤬 And for all the time I spent in the dealer room, i still forgot to buy gifts for 3 different people.😑 When I was heading back home from Con, I was repeatedly thinking how i'm totally over it and there's too many people and i'm too fucking old and i spent too much money. *one day later* so now i have two different costume ideas that i REALLY want to do. geez, i'm friggin' addicted. 🙃 Pic to follow. Man, i'm a couple weeks behind, but that's what happens for me when i take 2.5 days off to go to a con.  This year was amazing.  My first getting there Wednesday night.  So many people there on a WED it's crazy.  Saw what looked like a couple of cosplay greats, like miss-kitty-j and BelleChere.  Got into panels for MST3K, the DC CW-verse, Gina Torres (love her so much), American Gods, the Librarians, and the John Barrowman show.  Saw the Doubleclicks perform - twice!  Got to shake hands with Jason Isaacs and Felicia Day.  Man, what a blast.
